Elise's Dance Recital

Note:
Rather than try to play catch up for the past several months, I am going to do what I can to not have it seem overwhelming and just post a few events that seem doable :)

Elise was in ballet for the second year. I LOVE the dance studio she goes to--mostly because the owner, Miss Tanya, is a marvelous teacher that genuinely adores all these little ones and she teaches all the little ballet classes herself so that the kids will get proper foundations.

This year, the dance recital was a production of Alice In Wonderland. They really are good productions. Last year, Elise was in the youngest class, so she only participated in one of the two show nights. This year, she was old enough to participate both performance nights.

The first night, Kevin and Camille (Dad & step-mom) came out from Orem to watch. Unfortunately, I didn't bust out the camera that night. On night two, the kids grandparents - Grandpa and Grandma Maynard came out along with Aunt Amy (yay for me that I got to visit with her!) and Amy's daughter, Oneyla and Deidra's daughter, Makell.

Elise felt very loved by the support. It was hard work prepping for the recital and the week before they had rehearsals every day. But, all the girls did a fantastic job. It was also fun because several of the girls from our church were also in the production [small town :)!] and it was fun to watch them all!

Elise was a butterfly - these are my favorite shots of her ♥

My little poser

She fell asleep in the car on the way to one of the rehearsals and this is her make-up after she rubbed her eyes...oops!

What a beautiful butterfly! Too bad you do not live out here because I would be an even more fun dance teacher. ;O)
