Snapshots

These are some pictures that Jennifer took of the kiddos when she was visiting us in Utah in September. She had them on her phone and just sent them to me. What you don't see is that she was playing with the kids and snapping some photos and giving Ben and me a few moments of valuable time together! Thanks, Jen!! (hear the music in the background? "That's what friends are for....." Ahhhh....the lovely sounds of Muzak :)....."that's what friends are for...." sung in a soothing baritone-wink, wink!)

Really, I quite enjoyed these photos and wanted to share them. And, I am uber-impressed by the photos an IPhone can take. I enhanced them...but not by that much. The phone was pretty rockin' quality.

So, here's to some yummy, childhood popsicle time:

Brennan and Kaia decide to 'measure' up...or down...or all around...

and then an actual, natural display of their best friendship. Seriously, just the other night I was helping Kaia do a project for school. I was interviewing her to get some tidbits for a poster about her. I asked her what her favorite toy was. Kaia thought I asked what her favorite BOY was. And, she said Brennan immediately. [Now, it was funny that I had actually said toy and she answered Brennan ;)...] It was so sincere and impromptu. And, they mean it. Brennan tells Kaia that she is beautiful a lot. And, she tells him that he's a handsome gentleman. Or prince.
Granted, they argue and quarrel a bit...but, they really are best buds and they are really good at keeping Elise in their little loop.
