Halfway and working through the gender issues :)

Today marks my 20th week of pregnancy. And, tomorrow morning is the main ultrasound where we (hopefully) will find out what the gender is. And, where we want to hear that our baby is stunningly healthy.

So, Kaia & Brennan desperately want the baby to be a boy. I am kinda hoping for that, too (although, if we find out it's a girl-I'm going to be happy). But, mostly I'm hoping for rather selfish reasons...I don't think I want to be pregnant again and if it's a girl, then we would probably end up trying once more for a boy! Well, I'm being totally honest and maybe I should tone it down a bit :).

Elise is our happy-either-way girl. She has said several times "I don't care if it's a boy or a girl.  They are both so cute!"  So, she's easily pleased.  Kaia really is rather dramatic about it. She says "Mom, tell me right when I get home from school if it's a boy. That way, if you don't say anything, I'll know it's a girl." (I didn't agree to this plan)  Brennan just likes to sigh and say "We really need another boy in this family. We have plenty of girls."

Truly, we will be pleased, regardless. We are so glad that up until now, everything has been going well with the baby at our check-ups.

So, we'll see what tomorrow brings!

Excited for your ultrasound and hopefully you will find out what baby is. When we had our ultrasound with Rylee she kept her legs crossed and wouldnot show us her gender. I was ok with that, it made for a fun surprise come delivery day!
