The Bingham's come to play

On Sunday, April 26, the Bingham Family came over to my house for their first family gathering (only minus Sara) in many years. We had a fantastic time playing and talking and focusing on some ways to connect. It was a delightful day with several important, insightful moments.

Mike & Becky (here Mike is enjoying one of my rather outstanding cookies)

Rachel & Remo - He was an impressive guy! He got thrown into lots of introspective questions on a first meeting and did not shy away from them!

Jaxon and Jamie

Sweet, Sweet little Jaxon!

Family picture (again, minus Sara who is off being a sailor!)
Jaxon, Jamie, Jake, Ben, Remo, Rachel, Debbie, Scott, Becky, Mike-

Ben reminds Jake that it is okay that Jake hates having his picture taken. Best to respect your most accurate self!

Darling little Baylie helps with Brennan's volcano project.

So, Elise (almost 3) and Spencer (almost 4) struggled all day. I thought it was GREAT because Elise is rather spoiled and coddled. She is not used to being challenged. So when Spence came along and challenged her...she did not know what to do! Hopefully we will see her learning to stick up for herself soon! Thank you, Spencer!
Spencer bogarts Elise's stroller as she stands by aghast & dismayed!

Elise is trying to get it back...he's pretty strong, though!

GIVE IT BACK!!!! (By the way, Elise was able to get the stroller back due to the timely intervention of Spencer's dad, Jake. Next time, maybe Elise will be able to do it without reinforcements...we'll see in the next chapter...)

On the other hand, Baylie (just turned 2) and Elise had a lovely time together!. Once they realized that they could each have their own dolly and they didn't have to fight over them.
It was adorable to watch these two pretty princesses play!
All in all, a busy, family-filled, educational & fun day!
