Someone's List of Things to Do

This list has been going around so I thought I would give it a try. The items in PURPLE are the things that I have done...and the things in BLUE are my side comments...
1. Started your own blog
2. Slept under the stars
3. Played in a band [this would be on MY list, too!]
4. Visited Hawaii [i would say any tropical island would be on mine]
5. Watched a meteor shower [i would like to do this in Alaska or Northern Canada]
6. Given more than you can afford to charity
7. Been to Disneyland
8. Climbed a mountain [I am NOT counting the M:); I'd like to really climb a mountain, though]
9. Held a praying mantis
10. Been to Canada [Genesha, Diane...remember :)!]

12. Worked at an Amusement Park
13. Watched a lightning storm at sea [Would LOVE to do this!]
14. Taught yourself an art from scratch
15. Adopted a child
16. Had food poisoning
17. Walked to the top of the Statue of Liberty [Diane is a great travel partner!]
18. Grown your own vegetables
19. Seen the Mona Lisa in France [So, when I was in Paris and went to the Louvre...it was CLOSED!!]
20. Slept on an overnight train
21. Had a pillow fight
22. Hitch hiked
23. Taken a sick day when you’re not ill [i am assuming we are referencing physical ailments]
24. Built a snow fort
25. Held a lamb
26. Gone skinny dipping [I would like to do this on the visit to a tropical island when I am alone in the water with only my intimate and nobody else is in the vicinity]
27. Run a Marathon [I would like to do this someday]
28. Ridden in a gondola in Venice [I so cannot settle for the Vegas version]
29. Seen a total eclipse
30. Watched a sunrise or sunset [I have a delightful recent memory I am holding onto about a sunset]

32. Been on a cruise
33. Seen Niagara Falls in person [Both sides...again, with Diane]
34. Visited the birthplace of your ancestors
35. Seen an Amish community
36. Taught yourself a new language [I am so counting 'oven'!]
37. Had enough money to be truly satisfied [I think we are pretty conditioned against this...note, it doesn't say "been truly satisfied". It says had enough money...why is it always about money?]
38. Seen the Leaning Tower of Pisa in person [One of many (include number 40 & 49) that I would like to see in person]
39. Gone rock climbing [Hopefully this summer]
40. Seen Michelangelo’s David
41. Sung karaoke
42. Seen Old Faithful geyser erupt
43. Bought a stranger a meal at a restaurant
44. Visited Africa [Hopefully in the next two years]
45. Walked on a beach by moonlight [so many more beaches and moons to go :)...]

71. Eaten Caviar [Good without doing that again]

74. Toured the Everglades [That would be sweet!]

76. Seen the Changing of the Guards in London

78. Been on a speeding motorcycle
79. Seen the Grand Canyon in person
80. Published a book [There is someone I want to help do this...anybody have ideas?]

83. Walked in Jerusalem [Would like to do this]

86. Visited the White House [anybody surprised? with Diane again!]
87. Killed and prepared an animal for eating[if the economy does not improve, I may need to work on this skill]

89. Saved someone’s life [depending on the reference point, i could say yes]
90. Sat on a jury
91. Met someone famous [Met Angelina Jolie at the changing of the guards in 2003...but, i've met a few people who SHOULD be famous]
92. Joined a book club
93. Lost a loved one [in more ways than the literal]
94. Had a baby
95. Seen the Alamo in person [is it worth it?]
96. Swam in the Great Salt Lake[maybe this summer]
97. Been involved in a law suit
98. Owned a cell phone [at this point, maybe we should kick this up a notch...]
99. Been stung by a bee
100. Seen Mount Rushmore in person [same question as 95]
101. Learned to play an instrument [my vocal chords]
